SHC orders to remove billboards and hoardings across Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) orders the authorities to implement as per the Supreme Court SC order regarding the removal of billboards and hoardings from public properties across metropolitan city.

SHC Judge Justice Irfan Saadat passed the orders while hearing the plea against billboards and hoardings in the city.

During the hearing, the judge said, action would be taken against the government official in case of non-implementation of court orders.

SHC observed on October 17, 2018, the Supreme Court ordered the removal of the billboards and hoardings from public properties including overhead bridges, service lines and pedestrians, but the orders were not implemented completely.
