PTI senator files petition against his arrest in Supreme Court

PTI Senator Azam Khan Swati approached the Supreme Court, filed a petition against his ‘arrest’ and the ‘torture’ by Federal Investigation Authority FIA

In Supreme Court Azam Khan Swati filed the case against violating the sanctity of his residence.

PTI senator Azam Swati also said, “I was beaten in front of my family.” despite being the member of Senate.

The PTI leader also alleged that his face was covered with a cloth in the car. “Practically, I have died. Suicide is prohibited in Islam, and this is why I am alive,” he wrote in his petition.

The senator said that he will file a Suo motu notice tomorrow while requesting the court to take notice of the incident.

The PTI representative was arrested on 13th October by the FIA cybercrime after a controversial tweet against state institutions.
