Maryam Nawaz requests clearing of stranded Pakistanis from Ukraine

Lahore – Pakistan Muslim League -N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has requested the departure of Pakistanis stranded within the war-torn Ukraine.

In a tweet on Friday, he said: “Is there anybody tuning in to the pleas of hundreds of Pakistani understudies stranded in Ukraine holding up to be evacuated?” She said that hundreds of Pakistani understudies are stowing away in underground stations.

“The caught understudies have been summoned to Kyiv International safe haven, but presently no one is reaching them. The understudies have come to there after buying tickets for US$3,000,” she added.

On the other hand, Pakistan s Minister to Ukraine Dr Noel Israel Khokhar says the government is working on secure clearing of all Pakistan nationals stranded in Ukraine.
In a explanation, the minister affirmed that in general 1,500 Pakistanis, counting 500 understudies, are show in Ukraine who have been inquired to move to secure locations.
