FM highlights efforts for peace and stability in the region in the light of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision.
In a statement today (Thursday), Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi underlined peace in Afghanistan foremost priority.
He further said that Pakistan has been making efforts for peace and stability in the region

The Minister said a trilateral virtual meeting of Pakistan, China and Afghanistan is taking place today to discuss the Afghan issue.
He said Pakistan and China can play an important role for reconstruction of Afghanistan after establishment of peace in the country.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi further noted geo-economic as a priority of our government.
He said that we want to make Pakistan hub of economic activities.
In this regard, CPEC project and Gwadar Port will play an important role.
Meanwhile, the fourth Trilateral Foreign Ministers Meeting of Pakistan, China and Afghanistan takes place in Beijing today (Thursday).
The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will virtually attend the meeting.
According to Chinese Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Wang Wenbin, three foreign ministers will have in-depth exchanges of views on Afghan peace.
They will also have exchanges on reconciliation process and the counter terrorism and security cooperation.
Moreover, the Spokesperson underlined China, Afghanistan and Pakistan trilateral foreign ministers meeting as an important platform to enhance mutual trust and promote cooperation.
