Palestinian Authority ambassador thanks Pakistan for solidarity with Palestine.

On behalf of the Palestinian leadership and people, Ambassador of Palestine in Pakistan Ahmed Rabei expressed gratitude to the government of Pakistan and nation for expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people.

In an open letter, he conveyed his heartfelt gratitude for the remarkable efforts of Pakistan to support the Palestinian freedom.

Moreover, he also mentioned Pakistan’s condemnation of the Israeli atrocities against the unarmed Palestinians.

He said that they will not forget the observance of May 21 as Palestine solidarity day across Pakistan.

He further lauded the decision of the parliament passing unanimous resolution, condemning the Israel’s systematic oppression of the people of Palestine and demanding the UN to probe the human rights violations.

Meanwhile, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar met with Member of the US Congress Eddie Bernice Johnson in United States on Monday.

During the meeting, Eddie Bernice acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to eradicate terrorism and bringing peace in the region.

She said the United States gives value to Pakistan’s role in the peace process of Afghanistan.

Governor Punjab on the occasion stressed the need for resolution of Palestine and Kashmir issues for world peace.

He further said India and Israel are committing the worst human rights violations in the illegally occupied Kashmir and Palestine respectively.
