Central Ruet e Hilal Committee meets in Islamabad today for moon sighting.

The Central moon sighting committee will meet in Islamabad on Wednesday evening.

Central Ruet e Hilal Committee meets in Islamabad

It is meeting for sighting the crescent of Shawwal 1442 AH. Muslims celebrate the first day of Shawwal as Eid-ul-Fitr.

Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the meeting.

Meanwhile, the zonal committees will also meet in their respective areas.

The central Ruet-e-Hilal committee would gather witness from across the country.

However, Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow.
