FM Qureshi lands in Tehran on three day official Iran visit this afternoon (Tuesday).
During the three-day official visit to Iran, he will hold talks with the Iranian leadership on bilateral relations and regional situation.

Iranian Foreign Minister’s Advisor and Director General at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Syed Rasool Mousavi warmly received him at at Imam Khomeini International Airport, Tehran.
Besides, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran Rahim Hayat Qureshi and senior officers at the Pakistani Embassy also received him.
During the visit, the Foreign Minister will meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif.
He will also other meet other senior Iranian leadership.
The FM’s visit aim at strengthening bilateral cooperation, promotion of economic linkages and other matters of mutual interest.
Regional situation and international affairs will also come under discussion during these meetings.
Moreover, the two foreign ministers will hold delegation-level talks on the entire spectrum of bilateral relations.
They will focus on further deepening cooperation in diverse fields.
Besides, the two sides will discuss regional security situation.
Particularly, they will discuss the latest developments in the Afghan Peace Process and the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
They will also deliberate on strengthening regional cooperation under the umbrella of Economic Cooperation Organization.
