Minister reports third round of talks between TLP and govt. 

In a statement today (Monday), Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said of third round of talks between the banned TLP and the government team.

He further said Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Minister for Religious Affairs Dr Noor-Ul-Haq Qadri will also participate in the third round.

He said in the second round of talks, Punjab Governor and Law Minister represented the government side.

Interior Minister confirms talks with defunct TLP to resolve issues.

Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said negotiation process with defunct outfit Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan goes  in progress.

In a video message on twitter, the Minister said TLP has released eleven police personnel.

He further said that the TLP activists had abducted them.

He expressed hope that all issues will be resolved amicably during the next round of talks this morning.

Moreover, Interior Minister said all obstacles on the roads in Lahore have been cleared except one.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed further hoped clearing that one also.

Furthermore, he said the activists of TLP have returned.

Sheikh Rashid said Punjab government successfully held talks to resolve the issues.

Earlier on Sunday, Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed had denied talks.
