PM reviews development plans and small and medium enterprises matters in meetings in Islamabad today.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said the government is giving special emphasis to promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to take forward the economy.

He made the remarks while chairing a meeting to review Gujranwala Development Plan and Rawalpindi Regeneration and Nullah Lai Expressway projects.
Government is implementing these plans under regional development strategy in Punjab.
Moreover, the PM assured that the federal government will extend every possible cooperation for implementation of regional development strategy.
Under the proposed plan, the govt gives special focus to the agriculture, manufacturing and services sectors.
It is doing so in order to fully exploit the potential of Gujranwala Division.
Besides, it will give special importance to knowledge and technology transfer, Specialized Value Chain, infrastructure, etc.
Furthermore, focus includes: on development of human resource, Cluster Support System, inexpensive energy, communications, urban management, better coordination between rural and urban markets, rural development and management, environment etc.
On the occasion, the relevant officials briefed the Prime Minister on Nullah Lai Expressway project.
They also updated him about the best possible use of land around it.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan said this project will play an important role in transformation of Rawalpindi city.
He said it will address problems of the city as well as create an economic activity.
Moreover, the PM called for timely completion of the project.

said the government is working on ski resort feasibility to promote winter tourism in the country.
In a tweet on Tuesday, he said Deosai, the high altitude plateau in Gilgit-Baltistan, has turned out to be the country’s first ever winter ski traverse.
