SAPM on Health announces vaccination for youth in phases.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr. Faisal Sultan said this, while talking to the media today.

He spoke to them after inauguration of a vaccination center in Tarlai area of Islamabad.

He announced beginning of vaccination for youth that will take place in phases.

Dr Faisal Sultan further said vaccination process goes on smoothly.

Moreover, the Special Assistant appealed the public to follow the SOPs to contain the spread of COVID-19.

He also asked all the registered citizens to get their vaccination done at their respective centers.

He said till now nine hundred thousand people have been vaccinated.

Meanwhile, 4323 new cases of Coronavirus confirmed during last 24 hours.

During this period positive ratio remained nine point nine six percent.

43 more deaths reported due to Coronavirus infection while 4,323 new positive cases also detected in the country.

Meanwhile, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umer said that private sector imported 50,000 anti-corona vaccine dozes.

While, talking to a private news channel, he said those vaccine s also remain available in Pakistan.

The minister further said a shipment of 40, 00,000 doses of vaccine is arriving later this month.

Moreover, he said the federal government is fulfilling its responsibilities with utmost care and some two point five million jabs of vaccine have already arrived.

Earlier, NCOC decided suspension of inter provincial transport for two days a week.
