Prime Minister Imran Khan noted provision of 3G and 4G internet services in Gilgit-Baltistan vital for exploiting the true potential of youth and promoting tourism in the area.

He said this, while presiding over a meeting in Islamabad on bringing about further improvement in internet connectivity in Gilgit Baltistan.

Moreover, he expressed the government’s commitment to development of Gilgit Baltistan.

He also cited that the govt has already approved a historic development package for the region.

On March 30, 2021, Federal govt approved historic development package for Gilgit Baltistan.

The Federal Government approved the GB package during a meeting.

Prime Minister Imran Khan presided the meeting in Islamabad.

The Package envisages development schemes in various sectors.

That will usher in a new era of development in the region.

Besides, that will not only address problems of the area but also provide immense job opportunities to the youth.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister said that the Gilgit Baltistan has a lot of tourism potential and it should be utilized.

While addressing the meeting, he said that development of Gilgit Baltistan listed among top priorities of the government.
