Over 2510 new cases of Coronavirus reported during last 24 hours across the country.

Besides, 58 more people died due to Coronavirus infection have been reported in the country.

According to NCOC, lab tests have brought 2511 new positive cases of the pandemic to fore.

Meanwhile, the death toll has now reached 13,595.

On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar paid a visit to the coronavirus vaccination center.

He visited the Centre at Expo Center in Lahore today (Tuesday). He also spoke on the occasion.

Buzdar said that the staff was vaccinating frontline healthcare workers.

Moreover, they are also vaccinating people over 60 years of age in the first phase.

The Chief Minister said that Punjab govt had set up vaccination centres across the province for administration of coronavirus vaccine.

Meanwhile, National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) issued directives to the provinces.

During a meeting held in Islamabad on Monday, it asked them to take actions on violations of SOPs on Coronavirus.

Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar presided.

Furthermore, it asked the provinces to ensure that SOPs in transport, hotels and other places remain strictly followed.

Otherwise, they may consider strict actions resulting in the closure of tourism sector.
