Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi shared this desire, while talking to the envoys of European countries in Islamabad on Thursday.

He said Pakistan desires to further strengthen trade and economic relations with the European countries.
The Foreign Minister also noted great opportunities of investment in Pakistan.
He referred to significant increase in investment portfolio from European companies to Pakistan despite Coronavirus.
Moreover, he expressed satisfaction that bilateral trade has also improved.
The FM shared Pakistan govt preparing a plan in order to make the joint economic commissioners with the European countries more vibrant and effective.
He further said we are providing every possible facilitation to the entrepreneurs from Europe.
He also referred to the Roshan Digital Account and said the expatriate Pakistanis have sent $ 500 million to Pakistan through this initiative during the last few months.
Furthermore, the FM said both the sides need to evolve a joint strategy to remove hurdles in the way of bilateral trade.
He said institutional cooperation is a must to further strengthen bilateral relationship.
Meanwhile, Pakistan is also seeking enhanced trade among ECO member countries.
In this regard, Prime Minister Imran Khan shared a six-point plan, while addressing the 14th ECO summit held virtually on Thursday.
