In this regard, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi directed Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Malaysia Amna Baloch.

She called on him in Islamabad today (Friday).

The FM emphasized the need for promoting economic cooperation between Pakistan and Malaysia.

While talking to her, he also noted that Pakistan and Malaysia enjoy historic fraternal ties deep rooted in common faith and culture.

Furthermore, Shah Mahmood directed the envoy to take special care of the welfare of Pakistani workers in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Pakistan enjoy cordial relations with Malaysia, while people of both countries have special affection.

Moreover, both countries also play active role on Islamic issues.
