The Minister Fawad further said that the government remains committed to introduce electoral reforms to ensure transparency in elections.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has been making efforts to bring transparency in elections.
Moreover, he said the government would take all possible measures to ensure transparency in elections.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar said PML-N wants to make the Daska by-election controversial.
Separately, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz underlined transparency in political system as inevitable for strengthening democratic norms.
He said this, while addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Monday.
Shibli said the PTI, as per its manifesto, stays committed to end the culture of corruption in political system.
He further said the government is working to introduce electronic voting system to make the next general elections transparent.
The Minister said open balloting in Senate polls will help discourage corrupt elements.
Therefore, he urged the opposition should fulfil its promise made in Charter of Democracy.
While answering a question, he said timely measures to control the prices of essential commodities are yielding positive results.
He also claimed that prices of various goods are declining.
