Over 1040 more Coronavirus cases confirmed during last 24 hours in Pakistan.

According to the latest statistics, twenty-six more people died of COVID-19 during 24 hours.

As many as 1,048 new cases reported across the country for same period.

Now, Pakistan has 27747 active cases.

Meanwhile, 525,997 patients have so far recovered from this disease.

On the other hand, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said the process of registration of citizens aged sixty-five and above has begun.

He said the government was registering them for vaccination against COVID-19.

In a tweet on Monday, he suggested people may send CNIC number on 1166 for their registration.

He further said the vaccination of this age group will start next month.

Meanwhile, Sindh CM asks people to comply with corona SOPs.

Moreover, he asked the people for compliance because the total death toll rose to 4,219.

In a statement, the Chief Minister said 251 new cases emerged in the province after 9,252 tests.

Meanwhile, government claims to have provided assistance to 15 million labourers whom COVID-19 badly affected.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Dr Sania Nishtar said.

She was speaking during her visit to Provincial Election Commission Office in Peshawar.

There, she visited to submit her documents for forthcoming Senate Election.
