He got briefing on providing justice to common men, improvement in the police system and increase in Pakistani workforce abroad, in Islamabad today (Thursday).
He further said that empowering the general people is the top priority of the present government and it is working to strengthen the relationship between the people and the government.
Khan said that main objective of reforms is to create easiness in the system and ensure provision of justice to them in all spheres.
Moreover, he directed to pay full attention on the solution of the problems of the common men and system of punishment and retribution should be introduced.
Meanwhile, Chief Secretaries from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Chief Commissioner Islamabad gave a detailed briefing to the Prime Minister.
They apprised him on on the steps they were taking to improve governance.
Besides, IG Islamabad briefed the meeting on the steps police was taking to improve policing.
Officials also briefed on the progress made in amending the Civil Procedure Code at the provincial level. Especially in amending the inheritance laws to facilitate the process of giving women their legal right to property.
Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari briefed the meeting on the steps they are taking to increase the Pakistani workforce and remittances abroad.
Furthermore, he also apprised regarding the increase in the Pakistani workforce abroad.
They have formulated three-year strategy and action plan. That sets out the responsibilities of all the concerned agencies along with the timelines.
While expressing satisfaction over these steps, the Prime Minister directed to ensure implementation of timelines for achieving the targets and to keep them informed in this regard.
