Army Chief and DG ISI meet Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today (Monday).

General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister, while Director General ISI Lt. Gen. Faiz Hamid also accompanied during the meeting.

Matters pertaining to National Security came under discussion.

Meanwhile, Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry also met the PM.

During the meeting, he briefed the Prime Minister in detail on the Drone Authority Ordinance.

He further stated that with the establishment of the Drone Authority, they will use drone technology for research purposes in various fields.

Those fields include assistance in maintaining law and order, search and rescue operations, logistics, agriculture and many other areas for peaceful purposes.

Moreover, Fawad informed about the achievements of the Ministry of Science and Technology in the field of health and electric vehicles and their positive impact on local products and exports.

The Prime Minister appreciated the steps which the Ministry of Science and Technology has taken in this regard.
