CJP headed SC bench directs to remove encroachments from lands of temples and Gurdawaras.

The apex court gave the directions whilst hearing a suo motu case regarding the recent attack on a Hindu temple in Karak.

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Gulzar Ahmad headed the three member bench of Supreme Court.

Moreover, the bench also sought details from the Evacuee Trust about Temples across the country.

Meanwhile, Inspector General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police informed the court that the KP police have arrested 109 people in connection with Karak Temple attack.

He further said action has also been taken against the police officials.
