Chief Justice of Pakistan takes notice of burning of the shrine of a Hindu saint.
According to a press release from the Supreme Court, the CJP Justice Gulzar Ahmed has fixed the matter for hearing on Tuesday next.

He took immediate notice of the mob’s burning of the shrine of a Hindu saint in Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Furthermore, the Chief Justice also directed the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the IGP to submit a report on the matter to the court on Monday next.
Meanwhile, MNA and Patron in Chief Pakistan Hindu Council Dr. Ramesh Kumar called on the Chief Justice at Supreme Court Branch Karachi Registry today.
He discussed the issue of the burning of the shrine/temple in Karak with him.
The Chief Justice showed concern over the tragic incident.
Moreover, he informed the MNA that he has already taken cognizance of the issue.
Minister Shireen Mazari condemns burning of a Hindu temple
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari earlier condemned burning of a Hindu temple.
In a tweet, she strongly condemned the mob attack on Hindu temple.
Furthermore, she asked the KP government to bring the culprits to justice.
Shireen Mazari further said that the Ministry of Human Rights is also looking into the matter.
Moreover, she underlined it the government’s responsibility to ensure safety and security of all our citizens and their places of worship.
