Overseas Pakistanis send over 200 dollars to Roshan Digital Accounts which State Bank of Pakistan has created.

Prime Minister Imran Khan shared this news in a tweet today (Thursday).

He said that have crossed $ 200 million yesterday.

Moreover, he noted the pace is accelerating as first 100 million dollars came in 76 days.

Next 100 million dollars came in only 28 days.

The Prime Minister said that he wants to thank our great asset, Overseas Pakistanis.

Meanwhile, government is adopting measures to bring down inflation.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood said, while talking to a private TV channel.

Economic indicators heading in right directions

He said that the micro economic indicators are also heading in right directions.

Under dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said, the PTI govt is working efficiently to ensure good governance.

Particularly, the government aims to bring political and economic stability.

Shafqat Mahmood said the smart lockdown policy helped in containing and curbing the coronavirus pandemic successfully.

He also cited international acknowledgement of that role of their government.

While replying to a question, the minister expressed government’s readiness to initiate talks with the PDM.

He agreed on talks with Pakistan Democratic Movement on all issues except the national reconciliation ordinance and corruption cases.

Moreover, he also commented on the upcoming Senate elections.

Shafqat noted it as priority of the government to ensure transparency in the elections and wipe out any chance of horse trading.
