Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said these exercises will help develop mutual understanding of each other’s combat skills.
Furthermore, the exercises would promote inter-operability.
He said Shaheen series of exercises will go a long way in enhancing the professional skills.
Moreover, it would enhance operational preparedness of the Air Forces of Pakistan and China.
Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan noted Chinese Military Aviation Technology at par with contemporary requirements.
Besides, it has full capacity to meet the challenges of modern warfare.
While lauding the professionalism of Chinese Air Force, he said Chinese pilots’ outstanding air combat skills reflective of robust and modern combat training program of Chinese Air Force.
It is pertinent to mention that the joint Air Exercise Shaheen IX that commenced on 9th of this month has now entered its last phase.
Earlier, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee witnessed the exercise at an Operational Air Base of PAF on Saturday.
Meanwhile, he also spoke on the occasion.
Particularly, he lauded the professionalism of the participants.
Moreover, he appreciated the efforts of PAF and People’s Liberation Army Air Force in conducting a bilateral exercise in befitting manner.
Meanwhile, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa witnessed Shaheen IX on Friday.
He further said that Shaheen IX drill will improve combat capacity of Pak China Air Forces.
General Bajwa expressed these views during his visit to witness Pak-China Joint Air Exercise “Shaheen-IX.”
