Over 70 more people died due to Coronavirus during the last 24 hours, across the country.

As many as 2,545 people tested Covid positive after tests of 40,090 people during this period.

According to latest statistics, Coronavirus infection claimed 71 more lives in Pakistan.

Now the figure of active Covid cases in the country stood at 42,851.

However, the NCOC has also confirmed recovery of as many as 396,591 people from the virus so far.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Munir Akram called for making Covid19 vaccine available to everyone and everywhere.

At the United Nations, he emphasized the need to view COVID-19 vaccine as a global public good.

He expressed these views, while speaking during a virtual press briefing.

Munir Akram said equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccine will represent an acid test for the international community.

Furthermore, he also highlighted the importance of global cooperation and solidarity in beating back the disease.

Akram also highlighted the groundbreaking international collaboration working to achieve this goal.
