PTI Government has mentioned ensuring Socio-Economic empowerment of youth at national and international level as its  central agenda.

Due to devolution of Ministry of Youth Affairs to the provinces, Federal ministry was abolished and fully transferred to the Provinces.

In view of that, the PM appointed Usman Dar as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs.

He created a Youth Affairs wing under his own supervision in the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

In order to accomplish this vision of the Prime Minister, the SAPM Dar set out on a massive consultation dialogue process at local, provincial, national and international level.

That dialogue held to understand the problems being faced by the youth of Pakistan and international best practices to resolve them.

This process resulted in the creation of National Youth Development Framework (NYDF), developed on the basic principles of 3Es: Education, Employment and Engagement.

Usman Dar-led team of the PTI govt kept these 3Es as vital concern.

Meanwhile, the PTI government has designed a comprehensive program named “Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Program”.

It aims at creating opportunities to open the doors of socio-economic empowerment of youth.
