COAS General Bajwa visits Gujranwala and Marala today (Thursday).

At Corps Headquarter Gujranwala, the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa got briefing about operational, training and administrative matters of the Corps.

Later, the Army Chief visited field training events near Gujranwala and Marala Headworks.

He witnessed troops honing battle drills and procedures for conventional operations.

Meanwhile, he also spoke with participating troops.

Army Chief appreciated battle worthiness and impressive training standards achieved by the formation.

He reiterated that raining being hallmark of professional competence, plays a vital role in enhancing combat readiness to withstand the rigours of battle.

He said whatever the odds, Pakistan army will always live up to the expectations of our great nation in the defence of motherland.

Moreover, the COAS also visited CMH Gujranwala where he was updated on various up gradation projects undertaken for the benefit of patients.

Pakistan Army Chief also lauded the efforts of Army Medical Corps in containment of COVID-19 and saving valuable lives.

Earlier, Army Chief visited forward areas at Chamb Sector along the LOC – Line of Control.

During the visit, he emphasized upon troops to extend all out support to the local population who remained affected due to unprovoked Indian ceasefire violations.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the relevant officers briefed Army Chief on the latest operational situation.
