The authorities have made this announcement amid worldwide criticism against the decision.
India extends ban on high speed internet service
Hurriyat leaders, political activists and several international organizations working for rights of common people and journalists have opposed it.
Notably, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch also have time and again demanded restoration of 4G internet service in IIOJ&K.
However, the Modi regime pays no heed to the pleas and keeps on extending the ban on the service.
On the other hand, Azad Jammu and Kashmir is preparing to mark the 73rd Foundation Day on Saturday.
Kashmiris in the entire liberated territory of AJK are planning various functions.
They include rallies, processions and seminars to celebrate their freedom from Dograh regime.
Both the AJK government and the community would organize events.
They would commemorate the liberation that occurred on the 24th October in 1947.
Kashmiris established a revolutionary government under the dynamic leadership of Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan as the founder president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, the authorities had sealed the office of a local news gathering agency, Kashmir News Service, in Srinagar.
The journalist’s bodies have strongly condemned sealing of office of leading English daily, Kashmir Times, by Indian authorities.
