Religious scholars from KP meet PM Imran Khan in Islamabad today (Monday).
While talking to aforesaid prominent religious personalities from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed the confidence that religious scholars will continue to play their pivotal role for promotion of Islamic values.

Furthermore, he hopes they would meet the contemporary challenges and check sectarianism in the country.
The Prime Minister stressed importance of projecting the social, cultural and religious values of society to meet the contemporary challenges.
In this regard, the religious scholars have an important role.
He noted that the religious scholars have always fulfilled the responsibility of guiding the nation and the government in difficult times.
The PM expressed confidence that the religious personalities will continue to support government’s efforts against COVID-19.
Moreover, he hoped they would provide guidance to the people to stay safe from the pandemic.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan said Pakistan had good news for economy, despite Covid-19.
In a tweet today, he thanked God and said remittances from our hardworking overseas Pakistanis rose to $2.3 bn in Sept 2020.
He noted it 31% higher than last Sept & 9% higher than August 2020.
Besides, this marks the 4th consecutive month that remittances have remained above $2 bn.
