CPEC Authority head foresees M8 construction will improve Gwadar Port connectivity.

Chairman CPEC Authority Lt. Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa (retd) shared that authorities had issued tender for important section of M-8 construction.

He said this in a tweet today (Sunday).

Furthermore, he said it will improve connectivity of Gwadar Port, revolutionize socio-economic development of the region and bring prosperity through addressing the long term deprivation.

Earlier, he had said Tuesday that government was making framework to bring private sector in agriculture and industrialization under CPEC.

Bajwa also serves Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting.

He said they were evolving a framework to bring the private sector in agriculture and industrialization under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Bajwa, also Chairman of CPEC Authority, said in a tweet he held a detailed meeting with Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing here at his office.

The ambassador, he said, specially thanked Pakistan for expeditious work on the Rashakai Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Development Agreement.

He further said that our focus remained on framework to bring private sector in agriculture and industrialization.
