Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi meets Chinese counterpart Wang Yi during his China visit.

The meeting between the FMs Qureshi and Wang Yi began in Hainan province of China.

After that, the second round of China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers Strategic Dialogue would start.

Shah Mahmood represents Pakistan in the strategic dialogue with China.

In a statement, he said, besides, discussions on cooperation in different sectors including CPEC, he will meet with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Foreign Minister said we are grateful to China with whom support UN Security Council held discussions on the Kashmir dispute for three times after a gap of fifty five years.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan and China have overcome coronavirus to a great extent.

Regarding relations with Saudi Arabia, Foreign Minister said Pakistan-Saudi relations have always remained cordial and will remain so in future as well.

He said Saudi Arabia has a historic and categorical stance on Israel.

Before departing for China, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, released a video message Thursday.

He said he is leaving for China for a very important visit.

The talks will focus on the promotion of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Phase-II.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is the first political figure to visit China since the coronavirus pandemic.

The Foreign Minister said that his delegation will reflect the thought of Pakistan’s political and military leadership.
