Over 170650 Corona patients have so far recovered across the country.
According to the latest statistics, government confirmed 1,979 new coronavirus cases reported in the country during the last 24 hours. That took the tally to 253,604.

However, among total Coronavirus infected people, 170,656 have so far recovered from the disease.
These includes 106,622 in Sindh, 87,492 in Punjab, 30,747 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11,192 in Balochistan, 14,202 in Islamabad, 1,694 Gilgit-Baltistan and 1,655 in Azad Kashmir.
Meanwhile, 50 patients died of the virus during the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 5,320.
21,020 corona tests carried out during this period.
On the other hand, government has decided to introduce Ehsaas Nashonuma programme.
In this regard, Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Dr Sania Nishtar briefed Prime Minister Imran Khan. She met him in Islamabad on Monday.
According to the PM Office, the prime minister will formally launch the Ehsaas Nashonuma programme in next few weeks.
Furthermore, the prime minister directed Dr Sania Nishtar to expand the scope of Ehssas Emergency Cash Programme.
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has so far provided over 10.67 million face masks and over 1.5 million N95 and D95 surgical masks to hospitals across the country, to help fight COVID-19 effectively.
According data issued by NDMA, the authority has distributed Personal Protective Equipment in ten tranches.
