As many as 105 died of Coronavirus during the last twenty four hours.

According to the official figures, 4646 new coronavirus cases have surfaced in the country over the last twenty-four hours. It took the total tally to 108,317.

The death toll from the virus stands at 2172 with 105 deaths reported over the last twenty-four hours.

Meanwhile, 35,018 patients have so far recovered from the disease.

Province wise details of total cases: 40,819 cases reported in Punjab so far, 39,555 in Sindh, 14,006 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6788 Balochistan, 5785 Islamabad, 952 Gilgit-Baltistan and 412 in Azad Kashmir.

Meanwhile, over 100 labs undertakes Coronavirus tests in the country, concerned officials apprised National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Tuesday.

A meeting, held to review short term national anti COVID-19 action plan devised to meet additional requirements of June and July.

Officials concerned said that 102 laboratories were undertaking COVID-19 tests in the country.

They also informed that four new laboratories would also start functioning soon.

The forum discussed in detail the incentive package for front line healthcare workers.

NCOC decided to announce it after getting feedback from doctors and stake holders.

The local authorities were taking strict action on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) violation in across country markets, industries and transport aiming to contain COVID-19 spread.

They have deployed dedicated teams were deployed for ensuring compliance to health instructions/guidelines and SOPs.
