Covid19 claims 78 more lives

60 more died of Coronavirus during last 24 hours, according to official figures.

Although 26,083 patients have so far recovered from the virus while the death toll stands at 1,543.

As per official figures, 60 deaths due to Covid19 reported during the last twenty four hours.

Meanwhile, government has registered 2,964 new infections over the last twenty four hours.

The total confirmed cases of coronavirus rose to to 72,460.

26,240 cases have so far been detected in Punjab, 28,245 in Sindh, 10,027 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4,393 in Balochistan, 2,589 in Islamabad, 711 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 255 in Azad Kashmir.

On Sunday, Planning Minister Asad Umar urged shopkeepers to strictly implement “no mask, no service” policy.

He said, while chairing a meeting of National Command and Operation Centre in Islamabad.

He said shopkeepers to implement no mask no service policy while entertaining customers to prevent spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier, Coronavirus pandemic has claimed more than 373,000 lives across the world so far.

Over six point two million confirmed cases reported around the world.

The United States is on top of the list with 106,194 deaths followed by the Britain 38,489 and Italy with 33,415 deaths.

More than 2.7 million people have recovered from the infection.
