A 10-member judge bench, headed by Justice Umar Ata Bandial, will conduct hearing.
The federal government will respond over Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s petition in which he maintained that the presidential reference against him based on malafide intent.

Later, he again sworn in as the federal minister.
President Arif Alvi’s presidential reference filed against Justice Isa back in May 2019 after the results of the inquiry.
In February, 2020l, the apex court had directed the federal government to explain in court whether the Asset Recovery Unit (ARU) empowered to conduct an inquiry against a sitting judge of the apex court.
The reference accused Justice Isa of failing to disclose assets belonging to his wife and children in his tax returns.
The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) had taken up the case.
Meanwhile, some petitioners filed petitions in the top court against the reference. They also include the Pakistan Bar Council.
Hence, the top court constituted bench to conduct hearings into these petitions.
