Car bomb blast kills 7 in Ghazni city of Afghanistan today (Monday).

According to a statement from Provincial Governor’s Office, the militants detonated a Humvee Armored Personnel Carrier in Saqafat area of Ghazni city at around 4:40 am local time.

The car bomb attack also wounded at least 40 people in South-eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan.

The statement further said that the attack targeted the 703 Special Unit of the Afghan intelligence.

The explosion also damaged many homes as far as 2 kilometres away from the site of the explosion.

Condition of 8 of the wounded individuals remain critical till this report.

Meanwhile, Taliban group claimed responsibility for the attack.

On Sunday, Pakistan welcomed Afghan leaders signing of agreement on inclusive govt and HNC.

In a statement on Sunday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui said Pakistan welcomes the signing of the agreement among political leaders in Kabul.

They formally agreed regarding formation of inclusive government and High Council of National Reconciliation.

She said at this critical juncture, it is vitally important that all Afghan leaders work together constructively in the supreme interest of Afghan people.

Farooqui suggested they should help bring lasting peace and stability to the country which has remained affected for decades long violence and conflict.

On the other hand, Taliban leader also accused India of always pursuing a negative policy in Afghanistan.

Deputy Head of Taliban’s political office in Qatar and head of negotiating team with the US Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai said this said in an interview with an Afghan media outlet Azamm.

On Sunday, he said that India always pursued a negative policy inside Afghanistan and always supported a handful of traitors and puppets there, not the Afghan nation.
