In a statement in Quetta, he said that people and shopkeepers should follow all precautionary measures to control spread of coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has again warned about the lockdown across the province.

In his video message, he said no one followed the Standard Operating Procedure on Monday.

Murad Shah further said that the government will take strict decision if people don’t follow the SOPs.

Meanwhile, the nationwide tally of Coronavirus has soared to 32,674 with 593 new cases and 18 deaths.

11,869 cases have so far been detected in Punjab, 12,610 in Sindh, 4,875 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,061 in Balochistan, 457 in Gilgit Baltistan, 716 in Islamabad and 86 in Azad Kashmir.

8,555 patients have so far recovered from the virus whilst the death toll stands at 724.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to fully activate and operationalize Covid-19 Tigers Force at district, tehsil and union council-level across the country.

He gave these directives, while chairing a high-level meeting in Islamabad today to review matters pertaining to Covid-19 Tigers Force.
