Ambassador of China meets Pakistan Army Chief in Rawalpindi.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Matters of mutual interest, including regional security and COVID-19 situation came under discussion during the the meeting.

While speaking on the occasion, the Arm Chief expressed gratitude to China for extending medical support and all other assistance.

Notably, he thanked for visit of Chinese medical experts to help Pakistan, to fight the pandemic.

The visiting dignitary also re-assured China’s continued support to Pakistan at all forums.

Meanwhile, another PIA flight carrying seventh consignment of goods consisting of 18 tons of medical, testing and safety equipment arrived Pakistan today from China.

According to spokesperson of the National Disaster Management Authority, this consignment include 46 X-Ray machines, 177000 VTMs, 760000 RNA Extractors for testing and 1146000 different types of masks.

On the other hand, Coronavirus infection claims lives of 39 more people.

Moreover, 12,017 cases reported in Sindh, 4,875 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,061 in Balochistan, 457 in Gilgit Baltistan, 716 in Islamabad and 86 in Azad Kashmir.
