India blamed for exploiting coronavirus crisis to unleash terror against Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir.

Speakers at COVID-19 Kashmir Youth conference have said that India is shamelessly exploiting the coronavirus crisis situation to unleash its terror against the youth in occupied Kashmir.

Kashmir Youth Assembly and Organization of Kashmir Coalition organized the conference through video link.

Politicians, lawyers and human rights defenders, academics and jurists participated.

The participants appealed world bodies including UN Human Rights Council and Organization of Islamic Cooperation to play their role in protecting Kashmiri people.

They also urged India to release all illegally detained Kashmiris languishing in different jails.

Meanwhile,President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan shared views with French media, academia and members of civil society during virtual video conference.

He called upon the world leaders, intellectuals and international media to take notice of the atrocities which Indian security forces committed against innocent Kashmiris.

Moreover, he urged them to highlight it at global fora.

The AJK President said India was using the cover of coronavirus pandemic to break the will of Kashmiris through denying them their right to self-determination.

He said India is also altering the status of the internationally recognized disputed region.

Embassy of Pakistan, Paris organised it while Ambassador to France Moin ul Haque, prominent French media persons, scholars and intellectuals attended.
