Sindh to establish more isolation centres while Punjab vows to enhance daily testing capacity.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed to establish more isolation centers in the province, including Karachi.

He issued this directive while chairing a meeting in Karachi.

He said capacity of Expo Isolation Center should be enhanced from 1200 to 1500 beds.

Murad Shah asked the Commissioner Karachi to design a plan in this regard.

He  said permission has been given for online business in the province.

Moreover, the Sindh CM appealed to people to take all precautionary measures.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister, Sardar Usman Buzdar says provincial government will soon enhance daily testing capacity of coronavirus from 5,000 to 10,000 testing per day.

He said this in a letter written to members of National Assembly from Punjab.

Furthermore, Buzdar said quarantine centers, field hospitals, isolation wards and high dependency units have also been set up across the province.

On the other hand, Coronavirus has claimed 281 lives in Pakistan while it has infected 13,328 people so far.

According to National Command and Operation Center, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has soared to 13,328.

It further said that 3029 patients have so far recovered while the death toll from the virus stands at 281.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Ijaz Shah has emphasized on following guidelines on surgical masks and social distancing before entering stores.

He said while speaking at a meeting of National Command and Operation Centre in Islamabad on Monday.

Ijaz Shah urged provinces to educate store owners that only those people be allowed in side stores who follow guidelines on surgical masks and social distancing.

The Minister said intercity move may be curtailed on weekends to avoid crowding for public safety and health.
