MQM leader Aminul Haq takes charge as IT minister.

First, President Dr Arif Alvi administered oath of office to the new minister.

According to President Office statement, oath taking ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.

Syed Amin ul Haque went to office.

Senior officers of the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication accorded warm welcome to Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication.

Syed Amin ul Haque belongs to MQM while voters elected him as MNA from NA251 Karachi.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Member of National Assembly also serves the member Rabita Committee of MQM Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had accepted resignation of Dr Khalid Maqbool and appointed Aminul Haq as minister on April 6, 2020.

Earlier, rival Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal had accused MQM’s Amir Khan of forcing Khalid Maqbool to resign as Federal Minister.

He said this on January 17, 2020, while talking to the media on appearance in an accountability court in Karachi.

Kamal claimed that Amir Khan was seeking to get a ministry for Aminul Haq through this move.

The PSP leader urged Kunwar Naveed and MQM’s workers to support Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
Moreover, he slammed Amir Khan for doing politics with Khalid Maqbool.
Furthermore, he called Dr Khalid Maqbool as Mr clean because not involved in bloodshed.
