Confirmed Coronavirus cases in Pakistan rise to 1235, according to latest statistics.

 

Official sources confirmed 429 Coronavirus cases in Sindh, 408 in Punjab while 131 in Balochistan.

They also confirmed 147 cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 91 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 27 in Islamabad and two in Azad Kashmir.

Twenty-three Coronavirus patients have recovered so far while nine died of the disease. Seven patients are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran also welcomed opposition input to deal with challenge of Coronavirus pandemic.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said, while addressing a meeting of the parliamentary leaders in the National Assembly and Senate in Islamabad via video link.
He said the government will welcome any input from the opposition to face the challenge of Coronavirus.
He urged political parties to come forward and join forces with the government to reassess the situation.
The Prime Minister said at the moment, he believes that we should not go for a complete lockdown.

Pakistan has proposed SAARC health ministers video conference on Coronavirus threat.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi floated this idea in a telephonic conversation with his Bhutanese counterpart Dr. Tandi Dorji on Thursday.
He emphasized on a joint strategy at regional level to effectively deal with coronavirus pandemic.
