Seminar on Kashmir and Options for Pakistan vis a vis Rising Hindutva in India. The event held under the aegis of National Institute of Maritime Affairs in Karachi.

The seminar titled “Kashmir Issue – Revocation of Article 35-A and 370 of Indian Constitution: Options for Pakistan vis a vis Rising Hindutva in India.”
Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider, Pakistan naval chief, former CJCS and other key figures spoke there.  
They unanimously declared right to self-determination as the only solution to the Kashmir issue.

The AJK Prime Minister said Pakistan will have to formulate its policy afresh for resolution to the Kashmir dispute.

While addressing the seminar, Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi said India’s policy toward Kashmir reflects promotion of Hindutva extremism ideology in the country.

He said Kashmir issue has direct impact on maritime security and stability in the region.

Former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General (retired) Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed and former ambassador Abdul Basit also addressed the seminar.
