National Price Monitoring Committee seeks proposals from provincial governments to reduce hoarding and price hike.

The committee meeting held in Islamabad.  Finance Secretary presided over the meeting. 

It sought proposals from the provincial governments to reduce hoarding and price hike of various commodities.

National Price Monitoring Committee

Relevant officials briefed the committee on measures to curb smuggling of essential food items across the country.

It directed heads of local governments to check hoarding for profiteering at every level.

Moreover, it also directed them to take necessary action against profiteers and hoarders under the law.
