Minister calls for exploiting huge Pakistan mineral sector potential. 

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said that government is fully focused on exploiting the enormous mineral resources.

He said this while addressing the All Pakistan Chambers Presidents’ Conclave in Islamabad.

He further said that Pakistan’s mineral sector has a massive potential.

Asad Umar announced that the nation would see a significant progress in this sector during the current year.

He also assured promotion of Public Private Partnership successfully exploit the mineral resources.

Meanwhile, a businessman requested for building gas and electricity infrastructure in the newly launched Special Economic Zone in Faisalabad under China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Asad Umar replied that he had already approved additional funds of 6.8 billion rupees for this purpose.
