Pakistan rebuffs WB assertion

Pakistan rebuffs WB assertion on gender discrimination. Ministry of Finance has issued a rejoinder to World Bank’s Country Director for Pakistan Illango Patchamuthu’s tweet.

Factually, process of incorporating a company in Pakistan for a married man or woman remain same.

The ministry said this in a tweet while responding to the WB’s tweet.

It said that there is no additional requirement for a married woman.

Meanwhile, it said that the process require both married women and men to provide same set of information.

Furthermore, it said rules requires both the same documents for registration of a company in Pakistan.
