Pakistan Army rescues 22 students from snow hit Gilgit area of Rattu.

Twenty-two students of a private university stuck in snow-stricken Rattu area of Gilgit.

Those students had gone for skiing to Gilgit.

However, they remained stranded for last 5 days due to heavy snow and landslides.

Meanwhile, the university’s administration requested the Pak Army for help. Because of their request, Chief of the Army Staff directed the rescue teams for immediate helicopter lifting of the stuck students.

All students, including thirteen males and nine females, have reached Rawalpindi.

According to the latest reports, the students had started travelling to their homes.
